Easy DIY Dishwasher Detergent Recipe

Ingredients:

CInstructions:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients into a glass mixing bowl.
  2. Add 30 drops of your essential oil of choice *omit* if not using EOs and stir to combine. If not molding into tabs, then pour into sealable glass jar or container and use 1-2 tablespoons per load of dishes.
  3. If molding into tabs, use spray bottle of distilled water and spray while mixing ingredients until it forms a “wet sand” texture (I live in the desert so it took about 20 total sprays for me, some may need more or less in different climates.
  4. Once texture feels like “wet sand” and can hold into a mold press down to fill into mold fully to tops of each compartment, wait 24 hours to unmold and place into sealable container of choice. Use 1 tablet per load of dishes.

**If you keep mixture as a powder** if you notice it starting to clump use a fork to press and remove clumps in powder.
