- 1 cup coarse kosher salt
- 1 cup baking soda
- 3/4 cup citric acid
- *optional* 30 drops lemon essential oil (or your favorite citrus oil)
- *optional* .5oz-1oz ice cube mold tray (make sure it will fit into detergent holder of your dishwasher)

- glass jar or sealable container of choice
CInstructions:
- Combine all dry ingredients into a glass mixing bowl.
- Add 30 drops of your essential oil of choice *omit* if not using EOs and stir to combine. If not molding into tabs, then pour into sealable glass jar or container and use 1-2 tablespoons per load of dishes.
- If molding into tabs, use spray bottle of distilled water and spray while mixing ingredients until it forms a “wet sand” texture (I live in the desert so it took about 20 total sprays for me, some may need more or less in different climates.
- Once texture feels like “wet sand” and can hold into a mold press down to fill into mold fully to tops of each compartment, wait 24 hours to unmold and place into sealable container of choice. Use 1 tablet per load of dishes.
**If you keep mixture as a powder** if you notice it starting to clump use a fork to press and remove clumps in powder.
